When the business was still a letterpress printing firm, PURA was founded in 1908. Subsequently, in 1970, the third generation began a sustained effort to transform the business into the renowned Pura Group, a contemporary business as we know it today. Producing unique, inventive products as import alternatives for regional markets and export commodities for global markets has been PURA’s guiding principle. After more than 40 years, PURA has developed into a sizable industrial conglomerate that employs 13,000 people across 30 integrated production divisions on more than 100 hectares of land and exports goods to more than 90 nations.
